Kāhui

Our Kāhui (Advisory Panel) hold important relationships in each area and act as conduits, collaborators, and as conscience for the project. The Kāhui is comprised of highly regarded senior academics and people in the governmental and NGO sector in Aotearoa, Samoa, Vanuatu, and Kiribati.

Research and Design

NUWAO is made up of an interdisciplinary team of urban design, landscape architecture, architecture, spatial design, ecology, development, and climate justice researchers, practitioners, and designers based at different universities, or who are independent consultants across Oceania, including Aotearoa New Zealand. Te Herenga Waka – Victoria University of Wellington in Aotearoa leads the NUWAO project.
